It seems like every year stores start to put Christmas decorations out sooner, Christmas music starts to play in November, and even Hallmark starts showing “Christmas in July”. Don’t get us wrong, we love Christmas but we can’t forget about Thanksgiving!
Growing up, Thanksgiving was spent with family, good food, and Aggie football of course. We had somewhat of a house or should we say “family divided” rivalry. UT vs A&M was the game to watch, TV’s were thrown, words were said, but it never failed to bring our family together. Once this annual game stopped it changed the way we celebrate Thanksgiving.
Football is still watched, but instead of crowding around the TV we gather in the kitchen. My grandma always cooks for an army so anyone is welcome. Here are some of our favorite recipes- we’d love to hear yours!
